Do I need an account?

No. Satori has no backend and no account system — your documents, annotations, and chats live in local storage on your device.

No. Reading, annotating, and PDF tools all work without AI. When you do use AI, you connect your own cloud provider or a local Ollama setup, and only then is content sent to it.

Which AI providers are supported?

OpenRouter, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, DeepSeek, Groq, Ollama, and OpenAI-compatible endpoints — all with your own keys.

Can I open local PDFs?

Yes. Enable Chrome's file-access toggle for Satori and open local PDFs directly in the workspace.
